Mission Statement for Cadenza
As presented and approved by the Executive Board of the Montana Music Education Association, January 5, 2001 (Bozeman, Montana)
Vision: Cadenza is the Association’s most visible means of communication.
Mission Statement: Cadenza, as published, will communicate items of importance, interest and concern to music education professionals in the state of Montana.
Beliefs: 1. Cadenza will serve to record current practices, events and activities by MMEA members.
2. Cadenza becomes part of the historical record of music education in our state.
3. Information in Cadenza will serve to prompt dialogue and stimulate growth in the musical education profession.
4. Cadenza will strive to be an “umbrella” for the diverse and changing agendas of the association, its affiliates and its members.
